Management Information System – Program Goals and Learning Outcomes

PROGRAM GOALS

On successful completion of the programme, students will be able to:

  1. Have ability to apply basic knowledge and extensive and firm professional knowledge, to be able to work effectively in the field of expertise in management information systems.
  2. Have professional skills and personal qualities necessary to succeed in career; ability to solve problems, research, creativity and the ability to study at higher levels, as well as the ability to self-study to adapt to the continuous development of science and technology.
  3. Have communication, foreign language and teamwork skills to work in interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and multinational environments.
  4. Have ability to analyze, form ideas, participate in design, implement and operate information systems operation to solve the problems of organizations and society.

On successful completion of the programme, students have to be:

1. Having the ability to apply basic knowledge and extensive and robust professional knowledge:

1.1. Having the ability to understand and apply basic knowledge of mathematics, theoretical computing and fundamental sciences.

1.2. Having the ability to understand and develop the knowledge base of the discipline to identify, analyze and solve specific problems related to management information systems.

1.3. Having the ability to apply core knowledge of the industry and modern tools to collect, analyze data, participate in designing and constructing, deploying and operating management information systems, information threading and optimizing systems Information management.

1.4. Having the ability to apply core knowledge of the discipline to implement, analyze and address a specific issue relating to the governance of the Organization.
