EnglishOne PhD position (tuition plus + TA/RA assistantships) is immediately available during the academic year 2019 at the Computational Fluids Lab (https://sites.google.com/view/complexfluidlab/home?authuser=1) at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, North Dakota State University (NDSU). The goal of this PhD project is to develop a new generation of Fluid-Structure Interaction numerical algorithms, which are suitable for Exascale computing with multi-core architectures. Applications for such algorithms will be in the areas of Water Resources, Wind and Environmental Engineering.
Candidates with strong interests in numerical methods are encouraged to apply. Candidates at the final year of the undergraduate program (4th year) are eligible to apply. We are interested in candidates with backgrounds in: 1) Applied Mathematics, Computational Sciences, Computer Sciences/Engineering, Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

Yêu cầu:
- Tốt nghiệp ĐH các nhóm ngành Công nghệ và Kỹ Thuật (Applied Mathematics, Computational Physics, Computer Science/Engineering, Computational Sciences, Mechanical Engineering và Civil Engineering) với GPA > 3.5 mạnh các môn Toán và Vật Lý (Ưu tiên điểm toán tốt ở bậc cấp 3 và đại học). Có kiến thức về các môn Computational Mechanics, Numerical Methods, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics sẽ rất phù hợp với vị trí hiện tại
- Có kinh nghiệm nghiên cứu với công bố khoa học ở dạng hội thảo, tốt nhất có bài báo đã xuất bản. Các bạn đã học master tại các trường ĐH nước ngoài như Châu Âu, New Zealand, Úc, Hàn Quốc, Đài Loan, TQ,
