CVExt: Information Extraction from Curriculum Vitae

For incredible growth of the Internet, it is undeniable that Internet-based recruitment platforms play a significant role in recruitment processes. There are thousands of Curriculum Vitae or resume that is posted into those platforms everyday with various types and in various domains. That creates the essential need for a capable system which can mine and process those information. In this paper, we introduce a system that integrate natural language processing (NLP) to extract important information from complex-layout Curriculum Vitae.
We reviewed potential NLP techniques then applied those techniques efficiently into the system. We achieved high performance at different natural language processing parts of the system and got a promissing result in overal.
